KEY ISSUES
NEIGHBOR-FIRST URBAN PLANNING
When it comes to urban lifestyles and amenities, District 4 has something for everyone. We should work to preserve the diversity of District 4 while keeping up with emerging technologies and trends that can make our neighborhoods even more attractive places to live for everyone from students and young families to retirees. Strong public transportation, public use facilities, walkability and accessibility for all are a priority, and humane policies paired with a practical approach will help us lay the groundwork for the Tulsa of tomorrow.
SUPPORT FOR SMALL BUSINESSES
From family owned restaurants to high end boutiques and everything in between, small businesses are the heart of District 4. The decisions made on a City Level directly impact those businesses and the people who work there. A well supported workforce and business community is vital to the growth of our local economy and overall quality of life. While big business interests from outside the community may seek to have an oversized voice, we must not lose sight of the small business operators and employees who are the majority of those living and working in District 4.
COMMUNITY INVESTMENT
District 4 is home to every kind of lifestyle, community and walk of life, and our neighborhoods require and deserve ongoing engagement and support. I will prioritize main street initiatives that enhance our city, bring an attentive ear to the issues our neighborhoods and communities face, and stay committed to providing a pathway to equity for all.
